
Dr. Krassimir Stojanov is Professor of Philosophy of Education at the Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt in Germany. He also served as Visiting Professor at a number of universities in Canada, Bulgaria and Finland. He is author of many books and articles on philosophy as social practice, social, educational and epistemic justice, theories of recognition, ressentiments and their causes, mechanisms and effects. Alongside his academic activities, Krassimir practices ‘grassroots philosophy’ in the form of Neo-Socratic dialogs which he has conducted at various economic, political and educational institutions, such as the Federal KFW Promotional Bank in Frankfurt, the Bavarian Academy for Civic Education and several vocational schools. Krassimir has been also trained as conflict mediator and for several years he has taught courses on conflict mediation in multicultural contexts.
