Philosophical Consulting
The major task of our Philosophical Consulting is to engage the members of an organization or institution in a discourse about the meaning of their work within that organization or institution in order to prevent disorientation, demotivation, or quite quitting. Our philosophical dialogs enable participants to articulate their own individual values, find common grounds between those values, and leverage that common ground in order to further, or refine, the goals and mission of their organization.
We offer Philosophical Consulting in the form of one- or two-days workshops to political organizations of any kind, especially European and international ones; economic enterprises; governmental agencies and administration bodies as well as educational institutions.
Productive Conflict Resolution
We believe that most conflicts, including in multinational or multicultural contexts, are primarily motivated by a disagreement over deep-rooted value notions. These value-conflicts usually take form of a struggle for recognition of the identities of the respective conflict parties. Thus, a productive and sustainable resolution of the conflicts in question requires a systematic explication of the value-based identities and the recognition claims of the parties.
We carry out our work through a series of transformative sessions alongside the conflicting parties and leading officers of their organization.
We also offer one-day workshops on the causes, logic, dynamics and resolution possibilities of value-based conflicts. The main participants of these workshops are leaders and managers of diverse economic, political and educational organizations and institutions.
European Philosophical Salon
In our European Philosophical Salon, which takes place in various European cities, and to which everyone is welcomed we deliberate together on key concepts with crucial relevance for the contemporary world, such as ‘freedom’, ‘justice’, ‘truth’, ‘democracy’, ‘happiness’, ‘wellbeing’, among others. A central topic of the Salon is the question: “Are there specific European values, and if so, what are they?” This topic has great political importance in todays’ world, especially given the urgent need of a firm consolidation of the EU – a consolidation which is impossible without a good-faith search for common moral grounds.
The Philosophical Salon will start at the beginning of 2026 with sessions in Munich, Sofia and Brussels. Stay tuned!
